Named for the fork of two rivers in Boundary Country—the Granby and the Kettle—Grand Forks offers a peaceful respite from busy urban life. The small city, population “almost” 4,300, is known for its rich mining history, unique community of Russian settlers, growing agri-tourism industry, and ample recreational options. Michael Bednar of 108 Mile Ranch captured the vibrancy of fall in Grand Forks for the Fall 2013 article “Boundary abundance.” The photographer shares additional images from the shoot in this gallery.
