A Frightfully Good Time

Celebrate Canyon Frights at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

By Michaela Ludwig

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver has gone to the ghouls this month with the Canyon Frights event, suitable for Halloween lovers of all ages!

Running from Oct. 13 to 31, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., there is still plenty of time to head over to the park and get your spook on. Canyon Frights offers a Victorian-era fall fair vibe, where spirits of the past will come to life. Visitors can enjoy fun Halloween games, pumpkins and prizes. The bridge and park are illuminated and decorated for Halloween fun.

If you haven’t been to the park yet, in addition to the suspension bridge there is also an extensive treetops canopy walkway or visitors can walk along the cliffside overlooking the canyon.

During the Canyon Frights weekends, guests can learn from representatives from Raptors Ridge in the park and their owls, with informative talks about how Raptors Ridge houses their owls and the roles these birds play in the ecosystem.
